Our surf summer camp in France is in Vieux Boucau, Hossegor. The area is called Landes, a surfers Paradise which includes world-renowned surf spots such as Biarritz and Hossegor. Endless beach of white sand and perfect beach breaks. Most importantly warm water. Ages 14 to 17. Teenagers from USA, Poland, Norway, Italy, UK, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Canada, Spain, and other countries. Learn French and English, Surf, and live unforgettable moments this summer, making new friends from other parts of the world. Optional French language lessons with Qualified teachers from best language school in Hossegor. We provide transport company contact for pick up from Bordeaux Airport, Biarritz airport and San Sebastián international airport. Also possible pick up at Dax and Biarritz Train stations.

At our Surf Camp for teens in France, the strong breakfast consists of fruits, orange juice, croissants, toasts, whole grain bread, jams, honey, milk, coffee, chocolate milk, ham, cheese, muesli, and corn flakes.
Lunches: Starter, main course, dessert, water, and juice.
Snacks. Fruit available all day
Dinners are varied and include all the necessary nutrition for teenagers this age. A starter or soup, main course, and dessert. Juices and water also included.
We cater to Celiacs or Vegetarian teens as well.
Nomad offered its first kids summer camp in Europe in 1995. At this surf summer camp in France the boys and girls will be supervised by the camp counsellors. We only accept older teenagers 14 to 17 years old. 13 year olds might be accepted only if parents guarantee they are mature for their age. Our camp is owned and operated by surfers which translates into an authentic Surfing experience for your child.
The kids that come to our surf camp make new friends from all over the world. We split the group into teams which verse each other in games and activities. This enables all kids to bond with other kids and integrate themselves. So from day one everyone feels like they are part of a team and everyone has a great time in a friendly/healthy competitive atmosphere. The group is always together to experience the camp as one big family.
At Nomad Surf Camps, we understand that safety is a top priority, which is why we have highly trained and experienced instructors who are always on hand to make sure that our campers are safe while having fun. Our facilities are also fully equipped with the latest surf equipment and technology, ensuring that our campers have the best possible experience.
Our surf camp for kids in France is in a huge campus of 20.000 sq metres, 1.5 kms from the Ocean, only few minutes by bike and this is where the surf lessons take place. The teenagers are supervised by our staff.
The Bungalows
Our accommodation consist of cozy bungalows with 6 beds. We allocate everyone as to match kids of same sex and similar age in same room according to the bookings that week. All our camps are mixed although the bedrooms distribution is by gender and age (13-17 years old).
Linen and bathroom towels included.
Pocket money
We encourage the parents to provide a Debit card in case of emergency and 150 eur per week pocket money for vending machines, supermarket, lunch and dinner on excursion day, ice-creams, souvenirs, drinks or extra activities not included like paintball, etc. They will also need money for the first day as they will only have dinner included and last day when they only have breakfast included.

Surfing Lessons
Our surf lessons are for all levels from total beginners. In this region the surf lessons can only be done at low tide so this when our surf lesson will take place each day. The other activities are focused to enhance your qualities for sport, improve your fitness and above all to have fun and live this Teens Surf Camp in France, the best experience of your life!! If you are an experienced surfer and bring your own surf board you have to take the Elite Surf Training. See conditions underneath.
There are three levels for the surf lessons:
Surfing in Les landes
Hossegor is considered to have the best surf spots in Europe. From Capbreton to Vieux Boucau is a stretch of coast with numerous surf spots with really good beach breaks. WSL has been hosting one of their events for decades. Hossegor area has a huge number of surfers and surfing culture. You will see many surfers riding their bikes with their surf board racks going surfing. But the best thing is that in July the water is warm and you don’t need to wear a wetsuit. So come and join our France Surf summer camp in Les Landes and experience a week with great surfing!
Our new location in Vieux Boucau (close to Hossegor), Les Landes, France, is a surfers paradise. This world-renowned surf spot is known for its long and powerful waves, making it the perfect place for teen surfers to hone their skills. With our new camp location in Les Landes, you’ll have access to some of the best surf spots in Europe and the chance to surf with other teens from around the world.
The Junior Surf camp is only 1.5 kms from the beach in Vieux Boucau. For many years Les Landes was home to one of the most prestigious surf contests of the world, the Quicksilver Pro where you can see the best surfers of the world. Les Landes is the most iconic surf destination in Europe with a lot of surf history and culture.
To get to our France kids surf camp you can fly to Biarritz. (70 km)
Biarritz Airport transfer schedule on Mondays
Bus from Biarritz Airport to Camp at 13.00 pm and 19.00 pm
Bus from Camp to Biarritz at 9.30 am (arrival airport at 10.30 am)
Nomad will have a staff member at Biarritz Airport from 10.30 am to 19.00 pm to accompany kids that are arriving or departing. We help kids to check-in on their departure day. There is a nice cafeteria to hang out with electricity to charge your phones.
Upon arrival at the destination airport, your child should look for a Camps representative, who will be displaying a Nomad sign and also wearing a Nomad T-shirt . Airports can be quite crowded and hectic, you should instruct your child to wait at the airport’s information desk should he/she not locate our representative on arrival.
It is very important that your child has a his phone to communicate through Whatsapp with the person picking up at the airport (contact on booking confirmation).
Your child will often be one of many children arriving at the airport to be escorted to camp. Whilst our representatives will always try to arrange for onward transport to camp with the minimum of delay, it should be understood that your child may be required to wait at the airport before he/she commences the onward journey, due to flight delays affecting other children and/or difficult traffic conditions.
